Introduction

With networks today becoming so diverse and vulnerable, there is a strong need for standardization. This document is an attempt to standardize the way we install and maintain networks for our customers.

Standardization will not only keep us consistent with our customer network installations, it will also help to keep our customers' networks secure. There is a growing number of hackers and thieves out there just waiting to exploit any vulnerability our customers have in their networks. PCI Compliance is also a primary consideration when installing and maintaining our customer networks. We must insure our installations meet or exceed any PCI requirements. Please review our Comtrex PCI PABP Guidelines for information about using a wireless router on our network as the Comtrex Private LAN router, and important information about support software reqirements.
